“Aspen”, was the word spoke to us by this couple.  They are avid travelers and skiers.  And own a mountain home they visit several times a year.  What started out as a remodel of a small open concept ranch with a porch was to become a grand lake home that recalled some of the best qualities of their mountain home.  Both the husband and wife had strong opinions on this project, and we helped them negotiate their priorities so decisions could be made in a timely fashion.  This open concept floor plan lended itself to well to our fully integrated design process.  All of the patterns and colors are neutral and combine to give a rich and detailed backdrop to the stunning views of their lake.  This is a timeless look, with commercial quality furniture frames and fabrics that will serve this family with three boys and two dogs very well over time.  The kitchen is a seven cook kitchen, with seven prep areas.  This is a family that loves to entertain.  There is seating for 17 at the bar and custom live edge dining table.  But some of the chairs and stools are cleverly disguised in the design.  All of the cabinetry, finishes, furnishings, lighting and drapery was custom designed by KGDCo.  We completed this project from start to finish in less than eight months.  We have a very good reputation for being on time and on budget.
